Miranda Prado

Miranda is a Certified Occupational Therapist at Port View Preparatory. She was introduced to the field of occupational therapy in high school and it quickly became her dream career.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at San Diego State University and volunteered/worked with various companies supporting children with various developmental delays. Upon graduation, she served as a Classroom Support Provider (CSP) at PVP and learned more about the field and the students we serve. She then moved to New York City and received her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University. She was able to gain experience in many settings with various populations and reaffirmed her passion working in pediatrics. Miranda believes in collaborating not only with her colleagues but each student’s family as well to support the student in both school and home environments.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with family/friends and her dog Eevie, traveling to new places and meeting new people.
