Meghan Buchanan

Meghan joined the PVP team in January 2020. She is a certified provider of the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) program and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Completing her clinical fellowship year at Port View and staying on as a PVP Sailor has helped her learn more about the autisic community and helped her find her passion for the students at this school. She loves working collaboratively with parents, other service providers, teachers and districts to help each students achiece educational success.
Her favorite thing about PVP is the love and respect that is communicated between staff and students every day. There’s nothing quite like having a student finally accomplish a goal they have been working towards, gaining their trust, and using language in every day activities.
She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking and eating delicious meals, and going to the beach.
