Cassidy Gustafson

Cassidy graduated with her Master of Arts in Special Education with a Moderate/Severe Disabilities Education Specialist Credential from Azusa Pacific University. Prior to that, she graduated from University of the Pacific, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sports Pedagogy and Adapted Physical Education while playing division one softball. When considering graduate school, she decided that becoming a full-time education specialist would fulfill her passion for teaching in her community. Her passion specifically for special education comes from volunteering in the Special Olympics, coaching softball and fitness inclusion programs, and assisting family members in their respective classrooms. For Cassidy, the love of working within the special education community is driven by her idea that behavior is communication, and every student should have equal access and opportunities for success and independence.
